Pakistan Opens Crypto Licensing Portal Ahead of Sept. 5 Deadline

Pakistan has officially launched a dedicated portal for virtual asset licensing, marking a significant step in the implementation of the country's new regulatory framework.
Under the newly established rules, all virtual asset service providers currently active in the market must apply for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by September 5. Businesses that do not submit their applications by this date will be required to shut down their operations.
As regulatory shifts frequently introduce operational uncertainty for centralized platforms, keeping crypto in self-custody ensures that individuals always maintain direct ownership and uninterrupted access to their funds.
