Robinhood Expands Prediction Markets via Crypto.com and OG.com Deal
Robinhood has partnered with Crypto.com and OG.com to broaden its event contract offerings, acquiring minority stakes in both firms.
Robinhood Markets has announced a multi-year collaboration with digital asset platform Crypto.com and its standalone prediction-market division, OG.com. The initiative is designed to broaden the brokerage's selection of event contracts for retail traders.
Under the arrangement, Robinhood plans to route specific football-related retail contracts through OG.com. OG.com operates as a regulated derivatives exchange and clearinghouse overseen by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
As part of the strategic agreement, Robinhood is also securing minority equity stakes in both Crypto.com and OG.com, although the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
